It is cherry tart. My cherry tart was from Aldi (Special selection). A friend brought it two days ago and I had to eat finish it.
I like black cherries. I did not see here such a beautiful cherries like what they had in Ukrain on the way back from Cremia (we went to Sochi and also to Gagra (It is Osetia where they have some problems).
I remember this mountain. This is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It is too dangerous to go there now.

Where did you go for your vocations when you were little, Mary? Was it North Sea?

How are you Tommo? Are you playing in a quartet lately?

I'm feeling great thanks - had a skiing holiday last week.  Great sun, great snow, and lovely fresh air.

Yep - first rehearsal of a new quartet before I went on holiday.  Not the greatest.  1st violin seems to have a problem with rhythm.  2nd violin has a problem following the styles of others.  I as the violist am finding it hard to adjust to the volume difference from the violin, and am playing too loud.  And the cellist just doesn't seem to have the cajones.

Some of those difficulties can be sorted out, but my gut tells me that thsi won't work.  Still - you can but try.

No, that was when I was older. We lived near the Irish Sea when I was young, on the shore of the river Dee between Cheshire and North Wales, and sometimes with my grandmother on the Lancashire coast near where Milly lives now.

I've just logged on and apparently I'm the only person here. Or even 'user active'.

Good grief. It IS possible... Wink

You were up too early, ollie. There are always bloons to play. I take my seam on them and gradually working myself to the end of it. (I am not there yet).

Tommo, may be you will play different quartet (different music). What quartet did you play last time?
Mary, This is a beautiful scene. One rests just by looking at it.

Even more scary than that pic is one of me in the local press/website telling the world at large why I love the area I live in!  I've been in the news a bit lately around here so they asked me to comment generally on the town.  It's going in a glossy freebie to be handed in through people's letterboxes.   Grin

what local paper is this, milly?
I was on the front page of the local paper once; my wife was the local papers 'bride of the year'.
unfortunately, it was at the time of the Harold Shipman trial, so the Headline to theright of my face was
'Dr Death'.

Well I did hesitate about posting the link because it identifies me - but literally thousands of people are going to see it locally so....

I loved it, Millie. Where is Lancashire? I have to look at the map on google.

I don't know why I thought it was north England. I can see now that it is south. It must be beautiful there.
