But seriously, folks. What has happened to George Garnett, aka Agent Gusset? Was it Milly who emailed him? Any response, Milly? It's a tad worrying, although one shouldn't pressurise cyber pals I suppose...

The fact that he advertised his ticket for the Gergiev/LSO gig a couple of days back some while ago suggests that he knew that he'd be away some time ago, marty. I'd not worry too much right now: it's obviously an organised absence rather than a sudden flit. (Not that Ollie does those either )

Mart, Milly mailed GG and I sent him a mail a few days ago saying that there was a George shaped hole over here and that peeps were concerned at the Snorbens silence. Come to think of it, George flagged up some concert tickets for, I think, in February. He couldn't go because of committments. Perhaps that's why he's awa'?
Oops, sorry Ron. Crossed in the ether!

Yes, I do wonder too, martle.
I actually had a dream about him three or four nights ago where he was sitting in the back of a very grand and huge black, chauffeur-driven car as I stood on the pavement looking at him. I must say he was looking very splendid. The car then drove off. And that was that.

In which case, do you think Menzies Campbell posts here under a pseudonym, because last night I dreamt I was having a shower with somebody and I went to pick up a towel and they said, 'No, you mustn't use that one, that's Menzies Campbell's!' (!!!). End of dream.
Riveting stuff, I think you'll agree.

Well I think that it depends on who you were showering with in your dream. If you were showering, for example, with Sydney Grew, then I think you're in trouble. But if you were showering with, for example, Morticia, then we know that Menzies Campbell is indeed a mongoose. Or among us if you prefer. It could be viewed as unwise to regard all of one's dreams as being revelatory of the true nature of the r3ok community, but only on Tuesdays if parsnips are involved (gay or otherwise).

Good meal tonight then, hh? Nothing burning tonight. Went out for major lunch today with the head of performance. I had a game terrine followed by a steamed fillet of sea bream with ginger and mussels. All finished off with a plum and amaretto clafoutis, and a lot of the cheese that he'd ordered for himself. Good wine to accompany it, and it was framed by a gin & tonic on one side, and an espresso on the other. I was just on that cusp of being sated and almost being full. All of that means that tonight I've just hard boiled a couple of eggs, chopped them up and sprinkled them with salt and pepper in open sandwiches. I think I'll have a banana (to counteract the eggs) and some cake and biscuits later with another cup of tea. I love Sunday tea.
Ahem. I've sobered up from boozy lunch now (actually I sobered up during an hour-long nap), so my euphoric and slightly delusional mood has possibly a little bit to do with the fact that I'm a little high on mucous (as it were) and a little bit to do with: Well I wanted to post something to say that I'm composing again. I feel like a composer again. I'm writing a 9 minute work called VALENTINE for clarinet, violin, cello and piano.
Thank you [for] listening.

You might think that, but I couldn't possibly comment. (On the grounds that it might incriminate me....)
