Gosh, that absinthe wore off quickly George. The trouble is, that actually really does look like 72:00 to me!!

Can any one tell me what time is it? My watch says it is 4:40. Question No. 1. Is it day time or night time?
Question No. 2. Is my watch correct? My body watch says it is 2.30 in the morning.
Also I can not understand who the man in post #4411 is? Is he member of the board? This question was on my mind all afternoon.
Thank you
I am sending my deepest congratulation upon reaching such a respectful post number to member t-i-n

Take a look through the window, t-p, is it still light? In which case your body-clock is wrong, and your wrist-watch is right. The man in 4411 is the British character actor Arthur Lowe, who was being discussed at the time: if you look at that post again, you'll see that martle even tells us that it's him, right in the first line.

You wouldn't really expect t-p to work out who someone was by seeing a picture of him and being told his name, would you Ron?

The problem is the name. English and foreign names are difficult to catch and to remember. They have to be said twice as loud and clear.
I know who the character is because I love that show, but I could not understand who Lowe is. I have the day of most embarrassing moments today. I misunderstood because I did not understand Mr hh post before that.
Thank you Mr Ron Dough and Mr Richard Barrett.

If someone cannot tell whether it is 4.40pm or 2.30am one suspects that member of seriously taking the Michael.
