Well I would have waffled inanely ad infinitum, as is my wont, but I got sidetracked by the Proms and then the programme about the Berlin Phil auditions and after I'd cleaned up the kitchen and taken the dog out, I watched an inane film with Nicholas Cage called "The Weather Man".  It was an actionless film and I kept waiting for something exciting to happen but he just kept getting hit by pies and cokes and stuff.

So that was my evening.  Inane, inane....mundane....chilblain...

Hmm.   Grin

For excitement I prefer a film like "Vantage Point".  That was superb!  All action in fact.  Recommended to all by Mills.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

I had the pleasure of an audience with His Eminence Il Grande Inquisitor at the Albert Hall this evening. He passes on his benediction to you all and I am happy to report that the move all happened successfully (if later in the day than anticipated) last Tuesday. He is still off-line in the new house at the moment but, BT Volente, should be back amongst us on Wednesday evening-ish. More ominously, he mentioned that he has been working on a particularly fiendish new Quiz Question so we had better get our wits sharpened in preparation.

Thats brill GG! House moving can be very annoying. One move ma and my wife experienced, was when me and mrs BBM had to wait 7 hours for the bluddy key to turn up. The buglers of estate agents we were dealing with, did'nt realise that they had the key with them all the time! The removal men were being paid by the hour as well!! So I managed to strike a deal with them, plus giving them a bottle of whiskey!! That was their tip!

I like your sig ruby!

"Two wrongs don't make a right.  But three rights do make a left."

It mirrors almost perfectly the transition from boolean to intuitionist logic.

oh wait...it doesn't...

"Two negatives don't make a positive, but three absurdities do make an absurdity"

Ah well  Sad

I can't take any credit for it - it's from Rohan Candappa's Little Book of Wrong Shui, which is pure, brilliant silliness and makes me laugh however many times I read it.

(Maybe I should acknowledge that it's a quote - oops!  Shocked )

Or a sort of pig-squid.  It's almost cute in a slightly scary way...

Yes!  It be a baby pig squid.  I briefly changed to a badger, but then thought I better keep the squid-theme going.
