I wonder whether Martle is aware that there is a train from Victoria that will get him back to Brighton in no less than 3.5 minutes!

I also wonder whether HH knows that if he gets a train from Edinburgh to Hull, he can catch a connection there that will then get him to London Kings Cross in the quite unbelievable time of only THREE minutes!

CLICK HERE to check it out!

By the look of it that's the scenic route.

Yes - I think you're right Ted. Did you notice that beautiful garden with the dahlias on the LH side about 1.2423667 seconds between Bawtry and Grantham? They looked just like mine!

Thanks, Baz. It's weird: having done that journey so many times over the last 20 years, I know every inch of it (except the dahlias at Wivelsfield) and knew exactly where we were at any given moment. I'm sure that was my uncle standing on the platform at Thornton Heath, by the way.

As it was from 1923 - 1967 (save for the Pullman umber-and-cream of the Brighton Belle), Mort.

A strange series of events today. I somehow managed to bump into THREE ex-Arts Ministers that I had worked for in my time. And, unless I'm still asleep and haven't woken up yet, it doesn't seem to have been a dream either.

Perhaps this should have gone on the Spooky thread  Shocked.

Were they all in the same place, George?
