Hmm, pretty awesome George.

I thought maybe he'd have revealed himself every time he stood up and said in a Mysteron voice

I know I'm a bit late chucking my two penn'orth in,  but I'm only just back online after moving house. I much enjoyed the concert, and am looking forward to attending many more events of the same calibre. Sorry not to have introduced meself to any board members - mebbe next time ? (recognised Ian P from photos - also there was that nice man Tim Hodgkinson, who stayed at my house once with the rest of the Konk Packers)

I didn't see Tim Hodgkinson.

Incidentally, what happened to A and Baz? I saw you both in the audience but you seemed to disappear before I could say hi afterwards - was trying to find you to tell you which pub we were going to.

I noticed that too. Didn't you like the music? It's quite OK to say so and I for one would be interested to hear whatever you had to say.

Oh no, is it next week??! My stuff is really not working very well at the moment. The MIDI Out socket on one of my controllers has become highly dodgy, among other things. Anyone out there good with a soldering iron?

A little voice in my head is telling me that I've agreed to be somewhere on 7 Sep.

I really should buy a diary one of these days.

Luckily, my discovery of an innovative technique known as "going through all my cables and checking which ones actually work" saved the day. Next time I'll try to remember not to throw the ones that work on the same pile as the others as soon as I get home from the gig.

Readers might like to know that the concert on 16 June in the Spitalfields Festival will be broadcast on "Hear and Now" on 6 October.

r, when ever you're on the road and find a cable that's dicky, tie a knot in it immediately; then, even if it should up back in the flight case at the end of the gig, you'll know exactly which ones to chuck when you get home.

Indeed. As we know, knots never appear in wires all by themselves.  Wink

OK Ollie, put a Double Reef in them: the knot fairies don't seem to have mastered that particular hitch....yet.
