Just been chuckling at this:

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Great stuff MJ, glad to see he stubbed out his cigarette before he started dancing! It was helpful having brylcreemed hair so you don't expect it to be hanging down when he's on the ceiling.

I wasn't aware that I was but, as it turned out, yes. Just the thing. Grin

I remember seeing the likes of this at the London Palladium circa 1960 (on TV)

Our youngsters would scoff, but then with THIS soundtrack, is the dancing so different from today?

Thanks for that, Daniel. There's something wonderfully life affirming and really rather moving about it.

They are so elegant in France.

Now I can see Ratmansky. Is he still there in Bolshoi? They say that Bolshoi got a good reviews. I am so glad. I am cheering very much for them.

From what I understand they like elegant long leg dancers in Paris. They liked the same in Moscow. In St Petersburgh they usually have shorter and smaller but faster dances. Am I right?
Royal Ballet in Londong has some Romanian dancer that I don't particularly care for, though she is very good.

Here are men dancing and no ladies. That is cool, but then ladies come.

This is Scottish Highland dancing.

I used to do Scottish dancing a lot when I was young and danced in display teams all over the North of England.
