I have 1901 messages in my Inbox  Embarrassed

Oh thank Gawd it's not just me, IRF! I do have a spring clean every now and again (usually because I've realised that new e mails can't fight their way through the clutter Embarrassed) but before I know it ... Sigh.

Well my Yahoo Inbox has 4472 messages in it, but none of them is unread. I assumed that tinners' 110 was unread msgs?

I got this today in my Yahoo spam, she sounds like just the right person for me, I'm certainly going to have a good mood.

Aloha, dear

It is not easy to write the first letter to man I have never seen. I have
been thinking a lot before I made this first step and I hope you accept it
and support me.
I have read your profile and found a lot of common between us. I like
traveling, swimming, walking along the sea shore, theatre. I am cheerful and
energy, well balanced and flexible person.  I don't have too many dislikes.
What I don't want to do, I don't do.  I seldom have contact with people that
carry around too many dislikes. If there is hope to remedy them, I tell
them. People fail in life most because they don't say what they really want.
And this is the reason why they accumulate dislikes. What do I like? Some of
it you have already learned from my profile: I like my life, my job, and the
way I've developed as a person over the years.
I think it is not polite to start all sentences from "I" or "I am". I would
like to hear something about you. Tell me more about yourself. I am here to
meet my beloved and special ONE.  I wish him to understand my inner world
and to share his rich inner world.
Today I had felt the smell of spring outside and I believe hot sunny summer
will come soon though the streets are full of snow. My dreams about YOU are
realistic as well. I hope to get letter from you
at http://lovefemale.net/myideallove/ to start our
communication and will be pleased to answer your questions you may have.

Have a good mood

Quite right, although some of them are messages I've read and then "marked as Unread" (and the others are things that I know what they are, don't need to read, but for some reason don't yet want to junk). The total in my Inbox is around 600.

My email set-up is rather like my desktop vs. My Documents set-up, actually. I file some things and keep others 'visible', and it's not necessarily the case that the former are 'done' and the latter 'still to be done'; it just depends whether they fall easily into a 'fileable' category, and also whether they're things I want to see and be reminded of regularly or not.

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
