....apologies Roooosta, just runnning a few more choruses on yer riff; not trying to nick yer rolling thunder etc etc

enjoy lunnun mr i

...i am still utterly bemused as to WHY they thought they had you; valid or not, and yep i am sure they were not protecting Trevor because of his accurate description of the rancid JLU and its perpetrators and stooges, although they were very quick to mod him for abuse; and they do have it in for you and KK for your equally acid commentary on jizbaby & Jizzon£ and yer sneaky profanities etc etc

This might be as good a place as any to link to Antheil's Free Cd's thread cos as of last night the improv / jazz ones were still up for grabs.

I must have had a moment of madness - this is going to cost me a fortune in postage and jiffy bags!!  But then I am a generous and loving person <adjusts halo emoticom>

Don't know if Peter is a member here to explain for himself but I get the impression he is a BBC staffer whose dayjob involves updating the "digital content" (ie the web pages) and part of that brief is to host the Messagebored.  Of course his other job is playing the bass in a variety of contexts, mostly in contemporary music.

He had a blog but it appears to have gone now.

If the Today programme MB is to get the chop I suspect it won't be long before all the boreds are scrapped. They probably seemed like a good idea back in 2000 but are probably more trouble than they are worth.

Jeezus what a load of crap this all isThey also seem to have banned Ubu Impudicus, who is also not a figment of my imagination, though I am flattered that anyone'd think I could be these 2 cats . . .

I'd also like to say how depressing it is that some of you old bored cats (you know who you are) were very quick to swallow the 'official' version of all this.
"blah blah yes, of course kennytone made them all up" . . .

AND: I would also like like to express my skepticism regarding the 'solution'  . . . because even though I know meestah improv "in real life" so ter speak, I have no idea who UBU is, and he certainly ain't bin on my computeer.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO:
#1 what about internet caffs / other public computers - what if several people post from the same IP??

BAN 'EM ALL ??
#2 shared domestic computers - what if mrs kennytone or ms kennytone jr were posting to BBC sites??? wouldn't they also have been banned?

THE OFFICAL EXPLANATION IS< IN SHORT< CRAP
IT@S NOT ABOUT THE IP ADDRESSES

.... back later with more, er  . . . pithy comments.
[excuse my lithp]

however just to make a bid for clarity
whatever the hell that is

COMPLETE CONTROL
COMPLETE CONTROL NOW
WE WANT CONTROL
sing the massed ranks of the moderators at the bbc 'public' message bored

strangely enough
when the music played on the bbc
is being constantly tainted by the bbc's ongoing need to prostitute
itself to the biggest audience
and where so much of it's content is blighted by the constant need
to involve the audience
they are working flat out to keep only a select few on the
biggest aspect of their so called public involvement forum- the bbc message boards

waht a goddam laff

Well, Kenny. It - improv and the fallout - was certainly Orwellian to the max, was it not?

Although, according to Peter's explanation, his ouster, apparently, was just the result of geek laziness in mixing up the IP addresses.

And easy to pick on improv (wonder if he has an ordinary name such as - Stan - as in 'Stan' Laurel of Laurel & Hardy?) as improv is as easy to spot as Lenin in a Gucci store.

the moderators on the friggin bbc boreds dont follow their own rules
several people have attacked trevor cooper in the most vile abusive ways
not one of my comlaints against these attacks was ever upheld
