If anyone would like a Forum Meet at Lake Baikal
There's also a (slightly posh) bar called Baikal in Acapulco, which is where all the Mexican celebrities apparently hang out, though I didn't see any when I was there.

So, Siberia or Mexico anyone? Wink

Alternatively, Manchester any weekend gets my vote. York and Leeds are also possible. Huddersfield maybe, in November - I imagine several of us may be there then anyway?

Oh good, now we are back to somewhere at least in the correct country!  Grin
Manchester is fine with us as it's not a huge trek to get to.

Whilst the real Lord Byron would doubtless have appreciated such dubious females, the fact that the Mancunian variety thereof should arouse your approval casts a new light on your predilections, milord. What on earth will Janine think when she finds out?

And so, from small seeds unwittingly sown, the Tarts Council of Great Britain began.

Harvey nichols for tea, art for a visual feast but no music, as one would just kind of visit for the day and most concerts are in the evening.

  Shocked

I've been... "approached"... by young ladies of questionable occupation while waiting for concerts in London, Liverpool and Reading. It happens in Manchester too, eh?  Roll Eyes

There's also a (slightly posh) bar called Baikal in Acapulco

I wish I could say there was a slightly posh called "Acapulco" at Baikal, but sadly there is only just one place, named "The Old Hearth". Sometimes they have two sorts of beer, but usually they just have Sibirskaya Corona... they haven't got a "spirits" licence to sell vodka.  It's not even slightly posh Wink   But at Baikal you don't need a bar...  you just buy smoked omul-fish from some fishermen on the quay, some bottled beer from the shop, and have a picnic on the beach.  (Taking your empties home with you afterwards, of course).
