Manchester sounds good to me. In the meantime, here's a Manchester tart.

An excellent view, showing the dark area of the Oceanus Procellarum to the top, with the Mare Imbrium on the right.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

Not to be outdone, Russia has some excellent tarts.  This tart's name is Vatrushka:

Russia is also well-known for its brasses.  Here is one of them.

This is also a Russian tart (though I don't know her name)...

...though it's not clear (to me) why she needs to open the driver's door (instead of the front passenger - they do drive on the RH side of the road in Russia don't they Reiner?).

I tend to see the same few bands multiple times a year. Consequently, I keep running into the same faces over and over. (Often these are the people I've been talking to on forums without realising we've exchanged greetings at gigs for years.) At a gig in York on Friday night I had to run a veritable gauntlet of friendly faces between the bar and the front of the stage. One guy called me by name and we chatted enthusiastically for five minutes before I realised who he was (he's very big and scary-looking Shocked )

We never have to plan these meetings. They just happen Smiley

One time we did plan a meeting, half the group found the wrong pub and we missed each other completely. (There is a photo of this group taken outside the venue after the failed meeting. I am walking past them in the background -- totally unaware.

Hold on, I had a point when I started this post...  Roll Eyes

Oh yes... meeting plans. Don't do it! Just let things happen naturally...

When it's a seated venue, we often swap seat numbers beforehand so we can find new faces and say hello. Then when you know a face, you can say your hellos in the bar next time Smiley
