Thanks Ruth....The German Requiem was superb, and on Monday the Alto Rhapsody was one of the most moving pieces of live music I have ever heard....despite poor Nathalie Stuzmann having a "stonking cold" (JEG's words)

My tears flowed.... gulp!

indeed, tis not often one sees a friend to the stars 'jan', a poet 'jans man', a famous opera critic 'ruth' and a mad lord 'meeee' around a table at cafe rouge,covent garden !

Glad we could all meet up, was good stuff, sorry the poetry cafe was closed and the buskers had gone home, they seem to be working less,on evenings now.
