I shall be there at 1.00, pretty much on the dot, perhaps with a certain Doughish companion.  Smiley

And I'm expecting to be there at exactly the same time, perhaps accompanied by An Instance of Martledom  Wink

I'll keep an eye out for you both ...

OK, there are only a few seats left, but those are not selling desperately quickly now (it's still more or less the same as when I looked last night). I'd like to book at some point today, though. There are 2 neighbouring seats in the middle stalls for £20 - has anyone else not yet got a ticket and would like to sit there with me?

[Now booked: offer closed.]

If the trains are going to be diverted into Hove, do any of you coastal dwellers know how frequent the rail replacement bus service is? And will I have to pay excess baggage for my bucket and spade? Grin

There´s nothing on the National Rail website to suggest diversion via Hove on Suday, but there are restricted services from London Bridge to Brighton, so those travelling from London would be much better off going via Victoria (which would be my suggestion anyway)

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

Not if you lived 20 mins from London Bridge it wouldn't, pw. Roll Eyes

Thanks for the info, though. Sounds like I'd better traipse round to Victoria after all - see you there, Mort?

Who else is travelling from London?

My last post might suggest that I shall be travelling in a private motor vehicle, and that is indeed the case. However, much as I should like to pack said carriage with as many Members as possible, it will already be full of non-Members who (unaccountably) will be otherwise engaged in Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

I posted no picture of a bridge, Mort.
