'Ok, richie babes, how about if we make it the Ritz? Or you name it. Seriously, I've got Karl Jenkins and John Adams on hold here, and their windows are VERY tight.'

Bump. Still on as far as I'm concerned. The George from 7pm. I should be there by 8 I think.

Any more for any more? I'll buy everyone peanuts...  Grin

There's an outside chance of an Inquisitorial appearance, although with the workload at the moment, it's just an outside chance, mind.

If you can't come, IGI, I gather I may see you the following night at Sadler's Wells...

Ah.  Looks like I'll be reviewing PP now.  That means I have to go on the Friday... principally because it gives me the Saturday to write my review Cheesy

PM me if we're likely to coincide at anything else in the near future.  You know me - I'm going to most things.

Insanity isn't a useful concept.

Is this the pub described as:

"Such a shame-this used to be a lovely relaxing bar with mild mannered middle class drinkers 9ok there were the odd bit of rough but a girl likes that now and then). The staff are different and the girl running it (tiara ) needs to get new staff as the current ones are ugly, rude and have not got a sense of what they are doing. There are a lot of young (and i mean young) kids who congregate around the table thinking that they own the bar and i think maybe related to someone who does (or works there). I really used to love it in one but i am so sorry it is depressing now and really quite scary. The customer base and the music seems to be from the now closed yates,s -----need  I say more?"

Um, wouldn't like to say whether that description fits or not really, F-L. All pubs look the same to me.

But it is this one: http://www.pubs.com/pub_details.cfm?ID=187

My main objection is the energy-gobbling outdoor heaters but with a bit of luck they won't be blasting away in flaming June.

Freud-Lacan, this is the link for The George. Not a tiara in sight Wink The pub is about 2 minutes walk (if that) from London Bridge tube station.

I'm rather fond of The George. I was there just the other day, remembering our last meet-up fondly and wiping away a tear. One nice thing is that you can pretty much guarantee getting a table, as long as you don't mind being outside. Fingers crossed for the weather.
