(It would be great to meet Reiner! Any other meet-up newbies up for it?)
Indeed Martle. Hope you can make it Reiner. It's always great to match a face to a name. It would also be great to see newbies, that's what this MB is about. The usual suspects don't always have scarey light up eyes. Honest! [/quote]

Isn't that Donald Pleasance at the back there?
I hope I can make it to the tried and tested George but this might prove impossible.

Isn't that Donald Pleasance at the back there? That's just great: first he's haunting dark and lonely waters and now he's after our drinks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1eseh7aZFw

And it is in the Basilio diary as well. I look forward to seeing BobbyZ's hat = the Gertrude Shilling of R3ok.
(The Boarders' biog thread is a gem - I would never understood BobbyZ's reference to Dylan without it and google.)

For some reason despite knowing very well who Mr Zimmerman(n?) was I'd never made the connection with BobbyZ's screen name. I is someone else? The 19th sounds good to me. I'm not sure there's anyone on this thread so far that I haven't already met, but it would be great to see Bobby and Reiner again, as well as the regulars.

That's a shame, I need to be in Richmond for 7:45. Are there any early birds?

Ha! I'm free on the 19th after all!
No, Sir Simon, I said, if you really want to commission a new work from me for that so-called orchestra of yours, you'll have to meet me to talk about the details at a time of my choosing, besides which: the Dorchester? are you joking? I wouldn't wipe my feet on their doormat. Now kindly run along and contact my agent when you have a better idea.
