Actually, at one point around the time when that photo was taken, I believe I was mentioning that I'm playing a piece next week that is a Homage to Sorabji! Wink

Ah, well - there's no arguing with the consequences of beer-imbibing, is there? Just thought that I'd make mention that from my utterly snobbish, upper-class, aristocratic position from on high I cannot abide even being in the same room as a glass of any kind of beer. And, that said, all the rubbish that I've just written is utter nonsense except for the bit about beer, the very thought of which I simply cannot abide (though I am actually perfectly capable of tolerating its presence, despite what that idiot suggested earlier on in this message just because he happens to be as allergic to it as the said Sorabji - who, incidentally, published an essay on Beer and British Music - once claimed to be allergic to Tagore). Just for the record, incidentally, my allergy to beer was not in any sense influenced by Sorabji's take on the stuff - it merely happened to coincide with it...

Evening all!

Sorry - been offline all day - missed out on all the fun, just catching up now ...

Ok, I will own up to being the guy on the left towards the back who looks as if he'd spent about an hour too long in the Borough Tanning Lounge en route to the meet. Honest though, I was only in
there for 20 minutes! And Betty's very good with the foot massage, just in case you're passing.  Cheesy Cheesy
And there I was, wondering (quite wrongly, as it turns out) if you were a cellist.
Why, are cellists professionally obliged to avoid tanning lounges?

I'm the guy sitting between autoharp and martle, though that's not revealing much, since I seem to have done a brilliant job of pointing the entire back of my head at the camera Undecided

I wasn't trying to hide, honest. But I'm bad with cameras - as A will confirm, if you ask her how many goes it took before she managed a pic of me and martle in which I had anywhere near a normal expression on my face.

Well I have tried 5 times to load 'that' photo on to photobucket but will it load? will it 'eck !! I will try again , but honestly!!
