Thesis: certain themes lead inevitably towards a variation on the Picture Association thread. Wink

I've been meaning to post Rattle and Parsley the Lion on the 'separated at birth' thread, and keep forgetting  Cheesy

What channel was that on?  I'm sorry I missed that.  I've always found him strangely sinister.  Has he been found guilty?

It was on BBC2. Will be on iplayer I should imagine if you have access to that.

Thank you.  I'm morbidly interested and I'm inclined to watch it but frankly he has always given me the willies.  Very scary man.  Shocked

I've just watched the Spector programme on iPlayer. It makes for dark viewing indeed. A place of paranoia, persecution complex, envy and megalomania. Also fear. I found his remark about 'pity' being 'a wasted emotion' chilling.  I'll not forget his strangely blank, yet furious, gaze for a while. All in all, a glimpse into a mind that I'm very glad I don't have to inhabit.

monstrous ego, questionable sanity. And all to a soundtrack of three minute epics of teenage innocence

Agreed. Lennon should have been shot.

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
