blue-sheep,
How will we recognise you. A blue jumper following us around? Someone eating grass.....?

As regards queuing for the Arena, you may be interested to know that the last time I went to a Knussen prom, I didn't queue, ended up sitting by the fountain, and the hall was so empty that there was hardly anybody between me and the rail That was a few (five?) years ago, and admittedly it was an all-Knussen programme rather than including something as well known as the Rite of Spring, but I still wouldn't expect tonight to be very full! Unless you're planning on being on the front row (whether on a Season or Day ticket) I wouldn't bother queueing - I'd just turn up. I can't make it this evening, unfortunately But if I could, I wouldn't be busting a gut to get there early

Having heard all the scratches from James Ehnes earlier this season, I don't think I shall go so near to Leila J ( ), so I don't need to be near the rail. But I'll be busting a gut to get there, if only to get away from work! All the best Tommo

Well, it is now nearly 4.00 and I am 14th and last in the Arena Day queue.
Btw, Arena comes out as Serbs on predictive texting. Are all prommers East European?

Sadly no, BS. Although I was toying with the idea of getting on the train and keeping Tommo company for a couple of hours while he stood there like a lemon, then nipping back south again to listen on the radio.

Erm, if you did that you almost might as well stay for the concert, martle!
Or are you cat-sitting?
