I was never a star boy treble (though I made a passable Francis of Assisi in my school musical) but when my voice broke it gracefully sank downwards until it settled at tenor(ish) range and I've never looked back (yes, we also did a musical on the story of Orpheus while I was a treble).

And sung by Iestyn Davies with a lovely tone, looking like a very earnest choirboy.

That was acting, I think - he was a lot less choirboy-like when he was Flavio recently.
