Yus, there was... apparently their boat made land on the English South Coast, at Hustings.

At the risk of being reprimanded, I have trawled through as many of the messages as I have time for and can see nowhere when the 3rd poll will take place. I don't think it's been announced yet. At the start of the thread announcing the result of the 2nd poll, Michael said that it would be in a few days and that people would be asked to re-nominate themselves/provide new nominations before that happened. I don't think Bryn was shouting at you the other day, although it did come across a bit like that. I think he was actually having an oblique dig at someone else. t_i_n

Just like t_i_n, the only reference I can find to this is the first message in this thread, A: no mention of a date so far. Bearing in mind Michael's family difficulties at the moment, I hope you'll forgive him for being unable to get back to us on this as yet; I'm sure that he'll address matters as soon as he can.

We can all agree with that. In the meantime though, we seem to need nominations / re-nominations. I'm sure John, Richard, Tommo and Mort would all be seconded again if they chose to volunteer once more. Anyone else ?

I'm willing to stand (if anyone will second me), but I think we're waiting for announcement from Michael when he's ready. He did say it would be a few days, which seems entirely reasonable.

Ok, while we wait for the opportunity to nominate we'll find out out if it's worth while standing Members voted for me in the first round, don't know about the second, but I'm willing to stand again; should be more interesting being part of a team <don't-overdo-the-emoticons-in-a-serious-thread emoticon>

Well, I was going to wait until Michael came back, but if this is all going on now, I'll just say I'd like to stand again.

I think all conjecture should wait until Michael announces a poll, and no overt canvassing until that event. There is Persian Proverb: Even the tiny worm within the small rock dreams of fresh herbs.

Sorry if I started this off with message 80, I just thought that Michael had sort of half announced the next round by stating that everyone would have to be renominated, whereas between polls one and two the candidates just carried over. Of course there is no great rush but I'll happily second Tommo again.

Sorry, we have to get Casuality over and done with before nominations. And then there is Holby City, and Rebus, and East Enders, and a thousand more important things than a Massage Board.
Speeking of which,
I an offski.
Have fun folks.

Thanks BobbyZ. But to keep everyone happy I won't do any canvassing (yet) Tommo
