As Social Secretary of the Aberystwyth Jelly Baby Society 1978-1982 may I welcome you, Jelly Baby 7, to r3ok.

Of course, being veggie now I can't eat them...watch out JB7, there are carnivores on this board!

All a bit much for me at the moment....got a compilation playing at mo'....to gain some equilibrium....its hard nosed rhythmical sound-scape stuff that 0.00000000001% of world pop listen too....but it's increasingly home to me....my dogs are looking at me with pent up energy ....ready to be released....better do it....WALKEES....

Just about everything!!!  Cheesy  Cheesy

No, it's your amazing phrasing and as I have said somewhere else, the kinetic energy you give off.  You always seem to be buzzing.

I'm not sure how many jass devotees you will find here though.

Yes,I'm not sure either re jass....nor my other interests come to that ....as i do not come to music in a cateloging manner i quite often do not know the name of the artist for 3/4 of the stuff  I listen to.... and change from jazz to contemporary to plain chants to atonal to blaa....almost never seek out Beethoven, Bach or Mozart.... I like the obscure with 'taste for the bizarre'....My DysX is of a certain nature that I have to quickly grab concepts or they will be gone, its a cognitive problem....I cannot actually say many of the words that I write....but i have grown to love it like surely Scysiphus must surely grown to love his rock....up the hill and down again (time for a fag and tea and off again) <wink> <smile>

It's true that the jazz section has never really taken off here but there's no rule to say that it never will. One reason is that whereas many of the immigrants here felt disenfranchised by the BBC boards and so moved over, the jazz devotees were left more or less unmolested by last year's changes. Should that happy situation change, this board is a viable alternative. As things stand there are members who have an interest in jazz but not to the extent to produce the volume of postings that other topics do.

Have to admit I was a bit amazed at a post on the jass bored yesterday ( can't remember by who but one of the regulars ) that said this place was stuffy. One of the last descriptions I would have used.
