Thank you everyone. The piano arrived at 8.30am and is safely waiting in the garage for tomorrow's trip. At 11.45 am I got the call to say the money was through and the house was mine. I've been round and feel rather disheartened now as all the floors are very dirty and various things not working and lawn 2' high but I know these are just teething problems and it will one day feel like home.  I've met some friendly neighbours so not all bad. Going back armed with cleaning things once I've been to the PO to redirect mail. I may be able to have one more visit to r3ok tonight but if not, thanks again and bye for now. MJ xxx PS Good luck with your move, IGI. |

Thank you IGI! The move did go quite smoothly - how about yours? The start of this term's been tough but I'm just about coping now... hope yours is going better. I'd love to spend time catching up on r3ok but I really have far too much to do so I'll only be able to pop in now and again. The move went relatively smoothly, thanks, although ended up being the day before term began, which was less than ideal! I'm busy on the Dulux site at the moment, trying out different colour schemes - really useful: you can upload photos to try them out on! Work is franctic (Acting DHT still) and am paddling frantically to keep my head above water. With the extra space, I've moved my pc upstairs, making the third bedroom a study, in a cunning ploy to limit the amount of time I waste spend here...  It also means that downstairs can be a work-free environment. |
