Well, i know this is supposed to be for "hello" postings but I couldn't see anywhere else to say this. I am leaving these boards for the foreseeable future due to personal circumstances, I will return but I don't know when. A big thank you to all who have helped me in the last 6 months, especially Mort and Anna. Those of you at Ian Pace's recital in York tomorrow, i will see you there. Goodbye for now.

Jonathan You were on the Radio 3 boards when I first started posting, and you were among the wafflers who welcomed me when I was still drying my wings in the airing cupboard. It has always been a pleasure. Come back when you can, because we will miss you. hh

Amen to all of that, Jonathan. I hope your life may one day be in a place where you feel able to return. Until then, the very best of luck.

Jonathan -
First of all, thank you for letting us know and not just dropping out leaving the paranoid among us wondering "Have we done something? Doesn't he love us anymore?" Thank you.
What ever is going on, you have my best wishes, as everyone else here. Very best wishes.

I'm sure it's "Au revoir" rather than "Goodbye", Jonathan. 'Til later, then.

I'm not a great lover of "me too" type posts which just echo what many others have already said but I am happy to make an exception here and add my best wishes that things look up for you very soon so that we can once more enjoy your company.
