So I'm not the only one that gets that feeling then.

Yes, George, but are you wearing a dress often? If yes, what kind of dresses do you like. Some how I don't think you wear dresses. Men have less variaty in their attire, unless they are scotsmen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there will be a brief interval while Mr Garnett changes into more appropriate attire in which to answer t-p`s question. Thank you.

I rather fancied the idea of seeing George like this:

I rather fancied the idea of seeing George like this: In answer to the age-old question, "just what is worn beneath a scotsman's kilt?" "absolutely nothing. It's all in perfect working order."

Jonathan, is an equal passion for Liszt and shells common among pianists? (I'm not being entirely flippant, I would love to have a hobby as all-consuming as yours!) Hi Martle, Apologies for the late reply, been out all day. Anyway, as far as I know, I am the only piano playing, shell collecting person in the club - there's a link to the Liszt Society website from my own as well as the British shell club one as well. I'm sure someone would have said something! More shells arrived this morning - a parcel from someone I met at the shell show who spoke about a rare population of Calliostoma zizyphinium (a Top Shell which, if you've read my articles on http://www.britishshellclub.org.uk/ you will see that I have had problems finding!)

That's the one t-p, it's a lovely species! Apparently, it's not rare in Scotland (where I first tried to find it) but I couldn't find any!

Why am I awake? It's ten to two. So I got up and made a cup of tea with brandy in it, and thought I would moan on here. Quite a lot cheered by developing Diet thread, however.
My computer had locked itself for some reason and I took a while to get it working again. This new one is dodgy and I tend to leave it on Sleep, because it's hard to start if I shut it down.
I HATE computers when they act as if they have a mind of their own.

Isn't it that you're supposed to add the tea to the brandy ;P Actually, on the topic of tea, does anyone here put milk in before the tea? I think Constance Spry advocated such practice, if my memory serves me correctly. I HATE computers when they act as if they have a mind of their own.
Oh now, people always are looking for something to hate; before computers were the subject of those sorts of comments, people probably attributed malign intelligence to their cups of tea.... (seriously though, I do feel for you; computers can be the devil, I know).

Night-owls don't seem so prevalent here! I'm often up late doing writing and so on, seem to be a couple of others who like to burn the midnight oil - cheers!
