I don't seem to have made it into the thread-killing lists either, to my considerable surprise ... I thought the boards were littered with corpses

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

What's possibly worse than killing a thread off is starting a thread that nobody ever posts a response to. I think I've got two of those to my name ! Oh yes - like a thread I started recently in The Opera House, which indeed is still on the first page of The Opera House. I was going to post a review of the opera I wrote about, but seeing as nobody cared <sniff>...

On the other hand, does anybody have a thread they wish they COULD kill off ?
one to a million I reckon the 'andy kershaw can be cool' thread most definitely needs to be put quietly to sleep......

So only including people who have killed two or more threads (that have been dead since the end of the last month), we get for the coffee bar
11 t-p 10 John W 9 Tommo 8 t_i_n, A 5 Byron, George G, Kitty, Ollie 4 Auto, Eruanto, Inc, Martle, Morticia, Reiner, Tony W, Mabel J 3 CD, hh, Ian, IRF, Mary C, Milly, offbeat, PIM, Ron, Roslyn, Tonybob 2 Andy D, Bobby Z, Bryn, Daniel, MableJ, Roslyn, Ruth
One person who didn't feature at all was Richard.
I see I've killed off two AND three threads - does that make five???

Baziron isn't there either A Yes; he's not in the list I put up, which means he killed one post in the coffee bar. REALLY GUYS: I ONLY LISTED PEOPLE WITH 2+ KILLS. But Richard didn't even have the one. (also Ian hasn't killed on here for several months).

And NOW ... I find that the original amazon marketplace seller has finally restocked at the bargain-basement price! Oh REALLY? See you a bit later, people.

Having eventually got round to doing something about acquiring the Kondrashin Mahler box, I found that the amazon marketplace seller kindly recommended to me -- which was doing it for a little over £22 -- had none left. Oops, sorry opilec. I think that was me.
