Having cashflow troubles hh? I'm anticipating a large wad of money to have entered my bank account today: it's been totally empty for the past two months pretty much I think.

That Cat looks a lot like the late George Melly, Anty.
Bad bad`Luck hh. re: the ticket If you could suffer the indignity they could pay for it over the phone by card as a loan. I've had a lot of slogging round town doing chores, so I think my min-mini-break's going to have to wait apart from a dash to see the family. An old mate who now escapes to rural Jamaica for half the year living moreorless off the land said '...I don't want to end up wandering round B and Q on a weekend not knowing why I'm there'. Well I do, but I don't like it!

I don't want to end up wandering round B and Q on a weekend
Nightmare Scenario!! B & Q on a Bank Holiday Weekend Couples arguing about whether tis to be Magnolia or Hint of a Very Minor Tint, fractious infants dismantling the display of Stanley knives with amazing dexterity, Ma-in-Law having been dragged along wishing she were at home with the omnibus of EastEnders ......... Pa-in-Law wishing he was down the Rat & Carrot and a pint of Reverend James and Gwyneth the ample barmaid

Fearlessly evoked Anty, and yet as we type so many are wandering around these places thinking it their solemn duty. And we have exported it to the chinese, who presumably think of it as upscale s and m.Far better to pick up a bit of driftwood and start or defend yourself against the tide of magnolia.

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

Several years ago, we made the mistake of travelling to an Ikea on a bank holiday...we still have to recover from the trauma!

Leaving that to the imagination, the mind boggles! You know what these Swedes are like (even when they're not mashed with butter).

If I go there it always ends up being at 11pm or so which is when you see the lost souls pushing their trolleys around possessed or as if in some 30s dance marathon. Ihave been of their number when work has required rapid relocation to an empty shell. I must say I swear by this OMSK BILGE chair I'm sitting in (and similar`language brought forth when assembling it)
