Why is it every day something annoys me: Ok, I have thousands of shells and one of the best things for putting them in are Ferrero-Rocher boxes. So I thought, "I know, I'll ask if I can have a site wide email sent out so that if anyone has any left after Easter, I can have them rather than them going to landfill". So I asked the relevant person and was frmly told that that email system is not for non-business related matters, which was ok had it not been put in such a patronising way. Bloody bureaurocratic, completlely unhelpful nonsense, pah, etc. etc. (If anyone here has any going spare, I can give them a good home, I'll pay the postage - I don't need any more of the really big flat ones, just the ones that hold 4 or 16)

I am sick and tired today. No matter what I do or how much I try I am not good. I am tired every day. I don't understand what kind of site Jonathan was talking about. Is it a site or a box he wants? Perhaps it doesnot matter? I can see many happy people around. I better get happy in a hurry. It is quiete here is it?

Hi t-p, Feeling better now but here's a clarification for you (sorry, even though I edited my post to make it make more sense, it still doesn't read very well): Anyway, I was trying to email the people who work in the same place as I do via a "mass mailing" which goes out to everyone asking that, if they had any Ferrero-Rocher boxes which hold either 4 or 16 sweets, then I would be able to use them, rather than them ending up in the rubbish bin.

Did you get a box? Or will you have to wait until next year? May be some other box will be just as good. Here are shells from Brighten In Ireland there are good shells in Connemara. I have seen blue shells. I forgot why they are blue now.

I love shells. They remind me of being young and playing on the beach, when everything seemed magical. That's not a rant, is it?
T-p, I'm sorry you feel low. I did yesterday, but better today, so maybe you will feel better tomorrow!

Mary,
Is that a Camelia? Lovely. Used to have one in the garden of my old house, and been wondering what has been missing from my new one.
Thanks for reminding me

Thank you Mary. May be I am tired. I am trying to do too much. Shells do remind me of childhood, going to Black sea. That see is warm and to me was so beautiful. We made castles out of sand. They were not castles like this, but mud castles. This is Cremia It is now a different country (Ukrain). Were British involved there once (I remember something from history).

My avatar? No, it's a Benjamin Britten rose. I've got one in the garden, but it doesn't look very well so far this year. I've got camellias too, a white one and a pink one. They're in flower now, but the white ones turn brown rather quickly, so it's best to pick them and bring them indoors as cut flowers, I find.

Do they come from Britten's garden (I mean roses)? Or they are just called Britten roses.

then Human Resources (terrible expression)
Dear oh dear, Mort. I'm afraid all big organisations are the same nowadays. 'Personnel' has been replaced by 'Human Resources' because it's depersonalised: departments can ignore the fact that they're dealing with individual people, since they've been effectively reduced instead to a mere commodity... You're really not having a good time at all at the moment, are you? I'm truly sorry to hear that.
