This is excellent news, martle. Very glad to hear things are beginning to improve.

Glad to hear of your progress Martle. I walked along the edge of the cliffs of moher today, was quite exciting. No doubt you'll be doing something similar before long

Hey, martle, didn't know about your agoraphobia troubles -- you seemed to do okay in the presence of very tall people, so I'm sure it's a phenomenon that hasn't burrowed to the core of your being, and you'll move beyond it before long.
In any case, my current avatar should cheer you up (or creep you out) a little bit!

Hey, turf - thanks! Your avatar grooves. Thing is, if there had been two of you and you were standing equidistant from both each other and the respective shorelines of England and Wales, and had strapped about your shoulders tensile cables that held aloft a considerable length of the M4 motorway, you'd have scared me to death.

I must conjure up this rather complex image on my own time and then get back to you.

Oh dear. I am of course very sorry to hear you suffer from this, martle, but I have to say it is very comforting in a strange way to know that I am not completely alone in suffering from duosprocerusframmentoturfanihumeratentarectaangloharrysecombeviavehiculaIVophobia. Sometimes it can get very lonely at Support Group evenings.

Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Tommo.
And it works! One of the most startling things I've learned about my own condition is just how common it is, and how easily treatable such conditions are.

I think that's true of a lot of psychological/behavioural conditions. But if we all realised that and did something about it, we'd all be happy and have less to complain about. Then what would we do all day?

Keep the progress going venerable Green One. Having a competent shrink makes all the difference, but at the end of the day, all the advice in the world does nothing unless we act on it.

Personally, (and that's just me, no need to take any notice) it's more creep than cheer. What is it? A galloping dinosaur?
