Touchy. Say, what does Mancunian mean? From the Isle of Man? What's the difference between Mancunian and Manx?
Don't send me to Google now, just your own words, please.

Dishbo, 'Ena' takes her name and manner of discourse from Ena Sharples, a character in 'Coronation Street', a very long-running TV soap set in Manchester.

What's the difference between Mancunian and Manx? Manx doesn't have a tail.

Offshore tax haven status, for starters (and it would be rather dangerous to have the TT in Manchester, too)... Best, Alistair

It's really a matter of courtesy and humility - qualities that many great composers and performers themselves have shown over the years. Think about it please.
Ena, as I am sure you will have observed, S-S! does not do courtesy or humility, he merely proffers poorly crafted fakes of such dispositions. On the contrary, as you will observe if you care to look at my posts here and elsewhere, Ena, S-S! most certainly does do courtesy and humility. He even does courtesy towards our co-poster, Bryn. Or rather, he always did! A few recent unpleasant and not fully truthful postings from Bryn have now convinced me, after five years or so, that correspondence with the latter is no longer a worthwhile use of my time.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind. Happy to dish out discourteous and posturing denunciations of others as fakes but not quite so happy when the mirror is turned on you , eh, SS! ? Perhaps, (only perhaps), you have had a little glimps of how you treat others.

Simon, a couple of us composer types (at least) have today tried to address your and Ena's concerns about all this. If you're still out there, I'd be very interested to hear any substantive ideas you might have about our responses.

I am here, martle - and I am very appreciative that some have responded so generously and honestly. There are a lot of posts and there is, consequently, a lot to take in and to think about and I am now in for a very busy week, but I will try to come back to you contrsuctively over the next few days. Regards, S-S! Or even constructively...
