The idea of Scelsi composing the blues is a clever one but it's too obscure for me! I've only thought of Holliger as an oboist too and I don't think I'd ever use such as word as huger. Excuses, excuses, I know. I ought to keep my ears and eyes open more.

But happy birthday anyway, hh. You shouldn't be grumpy today. You've beaten Watson and I wish I were 29 again.

Prize comes from him? Look at online source, but we get confused with Ian's incorporations. (10).

Ian, is this clue self-contained or are we meant to assume it's a composer?

It's a composer - the first part of the clue refers to him more directly.

Not very clever, I'm afraid, and perhaps it was me that killed this thread. But at least this one is behind you and you can get on with your lives.

That leaves:
From Ian

Don't apologise Chafing.  I was sure I had to change Gr for Z, but I just couldn't think of a saboteur with Gr.

Thi thread is merely sleeping.......

Quite so, no need to apologise CD!

I had thought along gr/z lines too but couldn't get much further. Perhaps I could add that as a composer answer wasn't actually implied in the clue, I wasn't sure we were after one (although I know most of them here have been).
