That IGI, he's SOOO da man.  Smiley And no, I'm not (yet) Lord Byron!

Cooooool!  Tongue

Try these four, folks; not a common word connection, but the four works concerned should lead you to a single work by a fifth mystery composer...

Mozart
Grieg
Adès
Gounod

Well done!!  What a busy morning you had....was it on the commute to work? Smiley

Well, John did all the hard work, so credit where it's due....

Yes - a commute.  The slowness of Late Worst Western Link does have some advantages after all.....

Is this an AA rated quiz?

Mozart - AmintA (Il Re Pastore)
Grieg - AnitrA (her dance, Peer Gynt)
Adès - AsylA
Gounod - Ave MariA

So that means the connection is Alcoholics Anonymous, and the 5th Mystery Composer is clearly Musorgsky Wink

No bubbly (or vodka) this time, Tommo, although a clever connection!

The Grieg is a popular piano piece, whilst the Gounod is one of those pieces many people know, but cannot always put a title to.

Mmmm, were you thinking of Don Giovanni/ Peer Gynt? No, not a Stravinsky connection, martle.

Are we looking for a common word link here, bbm? The Nativity?

Messiaen - La Nativité du Seigneur
Martin - Le Mystère de la Nativité
Britten - Christ's Nativity

As to my quartet, the Mozart is a seasonal little number, the Grieg a celebratory piano piece.

Mozart
Grieg
Adès
Gounod

Is the Grieg one of his bridal pieces?
