Well done, Tommo. We creep ever closer to the solution! I shall reveal that the particular bit of Fidelio you need is the Prisoners' Chorus... Mozart Birtwistle/ Cimarosa – Secret Theatre/ Il matrimonio segreto Beethoven - Fidelio - Prisoners' chorus Stenhammar Josef Strauss – Phoenix March Borodin – Prince Igor Selim Palmgren If you can locate the Mozart collaborative effort, the whole house of cards will come cascading down...

Good try, Ollie, but it was less 'sacred music drama' than 'pantomime' (1790) and WAM's hand in it was...slight.

Well, well.... A goblet work!
...and a goblet of the sparkling stuff for you, Tommo! It was indeed a Harry Potter connection: Mozart – The Philosopher’s Stone Birtwistle – Secret Theatre or Cimarosa – Il matrimonio segreto ( The Chamber of Secrets) Beethoven – Fidelio: Prisoner's Chorus ( The Prisoner of Azkaban) Stenhammar - Min stamfar hade en stor pokal (My Ancestor Had a Large Goblet) ( The Goblet of Fire) Josef Strauss - Phönix Marsch ( The Order of the Phoenix) Borodin – Prince Igor ( The Half-Blood Prince) Selim Palmgren - All Hallows' Eve ( The Deathly Hallows) Well done!! What a busy morning you had....was it on the commute to work?

Aaaaaaarrggghhh, says me with the complete Harry Potter collection Yes, sorry about that one, John; it was a bit sneaky! As a teacher, I felt I should read the HP books and although the prose isn't always that brilliant (unlike Philip Pullman's Dark Materials trilogy, say) her plotting is very impressive. I enjoyed reading the final book over the summer holidays.

Not at all IGI, looking back I forgot it was a 'Rainbow' type connection and not a 'subject' like captivity was I'm preparing something a bit different for connections, if I may post it soon when I've 'checked everything' John W
