Just a thought, seeing as there are other wanderers of the night around. I seem to remember someone suggesting an `Insommniac thread`. Maybe a place to pop into to blather when our pot plants and gerbils are sleeping soundly.
Anyway, just a thought .....

oh what an utter a*se I am! I didn`t mean to post it here (I plead lack of sleep!) I, apparently, am not allowed to remove my own topic (I have tried). John/Michael, can youi either do this or relocate it to the Coffee Bar where it belongs? Blush. Time for bed said Zebedee. Sprongggg .....

In that as an insomniac you wander I'd have thought here is as good a place as any-alsohandy for any newcomers who stumble across our sanctuary overnight. My ex-partner used to dig me in the ribs around 4am for my early commute and e'en now I wake then betimes and recallthe baroque splendour of our surroundings in Slough

I have no trouble sleeping at times during the day, or in front of the TV, but it's a bother to get to sleep at night if my missus has started up her power drill in the pillow

I'm a very bad sleeper. I wonder why some people are like this, and others wonder what on earth you mean. People are also inclined to say that if you don't sleep it means you don't really need to. That's not my experience at all.
I'm in a really bad mood today because I didn't sleep properly, and it 's TOO HOT for my taste. Grumble, grumble.

Does this apply to counting sheep?
