Well, I'll spend most of the weekend with my family, and maybe a few pints with a mate either tonight or tomorrow tonight. That's cool enough for me  Tongue

We've got the local Club day and fairground shenanigans this weekend so that's where I'll be with the chiddler I expect.  Not a lot in the way of culture this weekend.

He broke up from school today for 8 weeks!  Thank heavens he's sporty.  There's loads of football going on and he can go swimming.  The school also do a holiday club.  We've arranged to have lots of friends round and he's going backwards and forwards for sleepovers.  All the same, it's a long time.    Ah well it's keeping me young....I think.... Undecided

I've set aside this weekend to check through the remainder of my black peppercorns one by one. I'm nearly there.

I thought I was Weiring but it turns out I'm Hollowaying.

I'm hoping to be finished before I set off for the RFH on Sunday though - the older I get the more I hate having to come back after a concert and work into the night. Sad

I shall expect the Peppercorn Dossier on my desk at 8am Monday, George!

Could we make it 11.00, tinners?

If I get it finished I was proposing to celebrate by getting completely rat-arsed.

You're not bored at all then George?  These peppercorns of yours - are they rent payments from your vast empire?  Shocked

11 it is. Hangover or no hangover.

And I shall expect bright eyes and a bushy tail.

I was planning to carry out a, long overlooked, recount of my juniper berry jar. Time permitting, I hope to include the Allspice berries as well, after which I will join George and Tinners in the Rat and Derriere for a small sherry. Cheesy

My weekend starts when I dash to the local Indian takeaway at 8.15pm (during the intermission of R2's 'Friday Night Is Music Night') to collect my Lamb Biryani (maybe not cool, but certainly not hot) and the missus' Balti.

Hey, someone tell our fine fellow member Peter Katin that he just had a mention over at R2ok forum - regarding the fact that he was a guest on Desert Island Discs - in 1956 !!!! Now THAT is cool!  Smiley
