On sober reflection (a delicious cup of Dr Stuart's Camomile and Ginger Tea in my case) I think you are probably right, Richard.

Just imagine, Tommo, if your postage stamp were on live update I would get recursion when I looked at it...

I have been quaffing with brass players this evening, so of course, we ended in a beer bar  (my preference would have been for wine, but it doesn't pay to order poncey drinks in the company of tuba players if you wish to retain any credibility...).

So anyhow, two half-litres of Velkopopovice Kozel for me this evening  (the lads were mostly on "Bochka", the local draught lager), with plates of hot ryebread garlic croutons ("grenki") on the side.

And a big glass of cold kefir before bedtime Smiley

Bombo,

Adnam's is a top brew.  Southwold or broadside?

Not sure about mixing it with dolly, though?

Camomile?!!!! Ugh! Disgusting!  Shocked  (As with all other herbal teas - except Booths "Tranquillity" which is lovely).

Lovely cup of strong tea here with skimmed milk and no sugar as usual.  I make my own smoothies - the Innocent ones taste a bit too acidic I find.

Tonight I tried a bottle of Magners - that supposedly Irish (?) cider that all young people (grumble grumble) seem to order these days. Foul.
Whatever happened to good, locally-brewed scrumpy-style cider that could lay you flat after one glass? It's probably been banned by EUROPE.

(For our US friends, in case you don't know: cider over here is usually alcoholic, sometimes extremely so. Unlike your very delicious non-alcoholic versions, which are more like a rough apple juice, and which I wish we could get over here. I'm a little tired of the 'pressed' or concentrated types of apple juice that typically adorn our supermarket shelves.)  Sad Drink Grump over.

Time for a trip to the West Country, martle - you'll find plenty of wonderful ciders there, locally produced. You could also try Brittany.... Smiley
