You need to look in a sub-folder and ensure you run a virus scan first.

Be that as it may, I'd much rather your cat didn't eat my plums.

I don't agree. I've always found it essential to send Persian rugs to a specialist cleaner.

Well, you say that, Mary, but that doesn't get us too far with the whole 'Billy Budd' issue, now does it?

Her agent added that, that apart, she knew of no other reason for Miss Jansen's sudden decision to cancel all UK engagements until further notice....

Let's all give a hearty welcome to Les Dawson! Welcome to the boards, Les! and can I just say how much I loved your recording of Harmonies poetique et religieuses? Makes Joyce Hatto sound like a fake.

In the last 2 days, I've found 5 frogs in the garden.  Three were this years tadpoles, the other 2 were last years.

(No, seriously, I have!)   Cheesy

The original parts from the Berlin performance of van Dieren's 1st string quartet were thought to have been left with Varese. Big mistake, that.
...left to marinate in some burgundy for around half a century, right?...

Quote from: richard barrett link=topic=1633.msg54256#msg54256 Whereas Marx points out in chapter 28 of [i
Das Kapital[/i] that during the feudal era, branding, flogging, enslavement, imprisonment, and execution were all acceptable forms of punishment for the crimes of begging and idleness.
This from the composer who, in the context of Elliott Carter's current creative productivity, described himself as a "lazy git"?...

I'm gonna go out there and take one of those swans by surprise.
No, Max; go write another quartet instead...

Alistair
