I hadn't realised until just now that Jascha Heifetz and Fritz Kreisler share a birthday (today). Hmmm... perhaps there's something in this astrology business after all. Although the fact that it's also Les Dawson's birthday might be seen as a counterexample.

In the following poem the singer Tom Petty hears the echo of emotionally traumatic encounters with an early, bullying producer shouting at him to 'Hum!' and that he is 'Dumb!', then insisting he say rather than sing the words 'tinny wool' in one of his songs, to achieve a greater dramatic effect.
Then, repeating the insulting demands that Petty should include more humming on one of the songs, the producer warns him that sales of the record are likely to nosedive at the same rate as a haddock falling through thin air if he doesn't heed his advice.

The producer then cautions and boasts of his earlier collaborations with Engelbert Humperdinck, to whom he refers familiarly as 'Humper D',  who had also ignored his advice - the producer says that even the efforts of a local supplier of alcohol and sound men, one Mr. Thurkin, were never again able to put the necessary aura into the recording to achieve the famous 'Humper D tug' at the heartstrings.

Hum Petty! Dumb Petty!
Say 'tinny wool'!
Hum Petty! Dumb Petty!
Haddock rate fall.

All Thurkin's sauces,
And all Thurkin's men,
Couldn't put 'Humper D,
Tug', ever again.

Not Martle. The identity is there to be found, via the properties of the image.

What? Kant shares a birthday with John McEnroe?

Or with Paula Yates's dad?
