You will sleep better, Andy D. There are some periods when one doesn't sleep well.

Good morning. Went to a RLPO concert with Simon Rattle last night. RLPO is definitely not the Berlin Phil, but he did his best, and got some good sounds from the strings. I got very cross because everyone stood up at the end, and I couldn't see what was going on. I refuse to do this, and am too stubborn to stand so that I can see. I just complain.
Why can't I get the home page? I can only get new replies to my posts (which I use all the time) and posts since my last visit.
This all seems more like a grump than a good morning.

You can have a lot done if you wake up early. I discovered it too. I even can have most of my practice done (in my head before 7 and on the piano after). At least you were able to fix something you would not if you were sleeping.
a morning walk is the best of things, i would go to the dentist, but can not find one that will take nhs patients, cor blimey, you pay all that tax in and they will not fix your teeth ! i shall try avoid tax in future !

Because I can't get the home page lists, I can only post if a topic is on the Unread Posts, or New Replies to Your Posts. Annoying. Which is why I'm posting here.
There is also something about the need to suspend registrations occasionally, but I don't think that's anything to do with me.

No, Mary, it only affects prospective new members. Can you not click on the 'Home' button beneath your avatar?

I've checked all your settings at this end, Mary, and there's nothing out of order at all.
I'm wondering now whether it was Milly who had this problem a couple of weeks back....

Thank you, Ron. I can search for things, but I just have this feeling I might be missing something! I hate computers

I hate computers Get rid of it, then. Then you'd be missing everything!

'Twas I! I just logged right out, switched off the computer at the mains for a couple of minutes, logged back in and bobs yer uncle! All was fine and dandy once more.

I wonder that would work if I took the battery out? I daren't, though, in case something worse happens. I only have a laptop.

Ho! I rather thought it was the Nat. Ins. contribs. that paid for things like teeth to be screwed back in, and tax pays for things like roads and big mean-looking helicopters. Once upon a time I used to dream about insisting that if I had to pay all that money in tax I should get a ride in one of those birds. Then I found out that they have something they call "incentive flights" in the United States Air Force, which means that a service member who has performed exceptionally well in a routine job can be nominated for a free ride in i.e. an F-16! (along with several weeks of pre-flight training on what to do if you get into a bingle).

Good morning, I have a late morning. I thought I had an early morning, but I fall asleep again. It is a grey morning here. I feel strange that I am later here than many people. I probably missed A.
