Morning all.  Beautiful sunny day here if chilly and very frosty.  I diverted on the way to work to take a few pictures, which I should be able tot get off the camera tonight and upload tomorrow.  I love the low morning sun in winter.  Yes winter.  Sad

Morning All and I agree, it is winter already...

I've just been looking at the MSN page and snow showers are forecast possibly as early as tomorrow with an ensuing cold snap.  Great, this house is cold at the best of times.  Sad

No snow here (yet), though have no idea what will greet me at work.
Rather groggy this morning, but that will serve me right for staying up late listening to trio sonatas.

Glorious sunshine here but it's very cold.  The heating seems to be better now I've turned it up a notch so hopefully i won't freeze to death today!

Morning.  No snow here, just a heavy frost.  It was about -3 last night and had only made it up to 2 when I got out to remove the crust off the car.  It seems to have surprised the trees, they're just dumping all the leaves.  <Wump>

Maybe Eru removed it for some reason, Mils?

Good morning.  Lovely day here.  Milder temperature and sunny outside.  A very nice start to November.  My mother is singing in a choral concert this evening and I'd like to go but think the programme would be a bit heavy for the child.  I shall think about it. <seriousthinkingemoticon>

Cold and grey here, we are promised 10 degrees max and 8 degrees min for tonight, so at least a little warmer night time temperature than of late.

What's on your Mother's programme Milly?

Lytham St. Annes Choral Society

Autumn Concert

Vaughan Williams:    Toward the Unknown Region
Three preludes (founded on Welsh Hymn tunes)
                                                  - Ian Hare (organ)

Six pieces on English Folk songs  - Suzanne Midgley (clarinet) & Andrew Barratt (piano)

Haydn"Creation" Mass - Janet Fischer (sop), Siān Millett (mez), Kenneth Boyd (ten), Matthew Duncan (bar)

Conducted by Andrew Barratt

I could take him for the first half.  I just think the Creation Mass might be a bit heavy for him at 8 years old.  Any thoughts?
