Hi BBM,
That sounds like a plan!  We live right in the middle of York and there are plenty of nice places to meet for a meal or a pint or whatever.  Remind me again nearer the time and I will clear space in my hectic (!) schedule!

Good morning, afternoon or whatever it is. I've just eaten a large chocolate brownie and feel rather guilty about it. Not healthy eating. Nice though Grin

I really ought to eat less of those (or at least, bake my own), but they were on sale at daughter's work for a while. And I am addicted to anything with more calories than I need.

It's that sort of day isn't it?  Gloomy and dark outside, a bit chilly... I think we're programmed to seek out calories at this time of year.  I've disappointingly but perhaps fortunately, failed to bring any money to work today so I've had to survive on my sandwiches.  If I had any cash on me at all I'd have been straight downstairs for some chocolate by now.

Very dreary day.  Totally unmotivated... zzz

I've just had one of our home made cakes which we made yesterday afternoon.  Jolly good they were too!  Nom-nom-nom.

Good morning.
Looks like it's going to be a not-terribly-nice day today.
Also it's really quite cold this morning.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Morning from a freezing cold York.  Trouble is, this is a cold house so doesn't really warm up much during the day.

Turns out that the sky was blue behind the blind after all. It was just a sluggish sun struggling to climb over the tenements surrounding me.
Still effing cold though. When I have a few minutes to spare I'm going to have to buy some new slippers.

h-h you could always wear some thick socks till you've had time to get some slippers.... Wink

Morning all.  There isn't a bone idle thread so I've posted here.  I woke up very late this morning!!!  I didn't set the alarm because it's half-term, so no school run and the teenager is signed off for the rest of the week, so no breakfast to make or lunch to pack.

Half the day is already gone and I've got loads to do...... Grin
