Morning.
Rather disappointing and trying day yesterday, so topped it off with a trip to the cinema and a few drinks.

But it's another day today.

Morning all, I'm posting in bed on my laptop, it's not at all weird and it's not even wired!

Haven't been downstairs to make a cuppa yet. There's a purry cat sitting on the floor next to the bed Smiley

Son tells me that while his wife was at work (he had a day off) he went to bed with next door's cat. It came into the bedroom, sat on his chest purring and they both went to sleep. Wife is not pleased at this evidence of unfaithfulness and lack of hygeine Smiley.

Good morning.
My flat is looking tidier than it has for a couple of weeks due to an hour's feverish activity last night.
I'll eat a banana, have a shower and then think about hoovering.

Other half is going down to the National Fruit Farm at Brogdale near Faversham to buy apples to lay in for the winter.  See what extraordinarily named variety he comes up with this time

Don Basilio, can I be nosey and ask what variety of apples were purchased?  Do you have a shed/outhouse to lay them down?

Sorry, messed up the quotes!

He laid them all out on the dining room carpet to dry off, and will then store them in the cellar.

But what varieties are they?  I had some nice Russets on Friday.

Morning from York.  I've been up for hours but have been looking for another job, hence the delay in posting here!

Hi Jonathan! Me and MrsBBM will be stayin g at a place called Whitwell on the Hill, late June, next year. About 12 miles south of York, I believe and we intend on going to York a few times, as well. Any chance of a meet up at all?
