Good morning all. It's a beautiful September morning here too and though there is a chunk of work I really must get finished today I don't think I can resist awarding myself a short autumnal walk up to Childwickbury to say hallo to the goats.

Oh dear, poor Milly. I am sorry to hear that. You were coping so heroically with the cold on Thursday that I thought you would see it off by will power alone. That is rough luck. Never fear, no flu symptoms here as a result of our encounter, thank you for asking, apart from going slightly weak at the knees.

Do hope you feel better soon.

Morning all.  Hope you all feel a darn sight better than I do!  However, I'm getting there, albeit slowly.  Thanks for the good wishes.  Dull and cloudy here today but rain isn't forecast.

I haven't really enjoyed much on R3 this morning but that might just be the mood I'm in.  It seems to be just like Radio 2 used to be now....Cockaigne, Dumbarton Oaks, excerpts from all sorts...perhaps it's just me.  Sad

That lovely clip of the polar bear and huskie cheered me up no end.  Smiley

Morning.
Hoping that this cloud might burn off...
Had my supervisor over for dinner, so I'm just waiting for him to finish in the bathroom then I'll run him back to his house and go shopping for some crayons.

Pretty sunny In Chelmsford and a  nice day off today.

Will get car washed up at Sainsburys - nice chaps with baseball caps do it for a fiver.  They seem legit and grateful for the cash.

Fill up with diesel, order repeat presecription and perhaps a quick basket round M & S food.

Hoping to catch up on Leipzig Prom missed last week and some good racing on satellite TV this afternoon.

I wish Milly the very best of days.  She is balm to the soul in a troubled world.

Good morning everybody Smiley

Am waiting in for the plumber as the flush on my loo is broken and I have been having to flush it with a bucket of water  Roll Eyes

I think autumn might be here... oh well, good riddance to the "summer that wasn't"...

George, I do so hope that being in such close proximity did not put you in too much danger and that you are feeling quite well.  Kiss Kiss Kiss

Just so long as you did not shake George's hand, Milly. That, I am told, is the most common mode of transmission of such viruses.
