I haven't ironed anything for at least a year, as far as I can remember. Does that make me a bad person? Wink

No, of course, not, but it may not be unreasonable to suggest that the TIME for doing some IS NOW...

I must have burned at least five calories walking the pooches this morning.

I shall now feel self-righteous, and absolutely entitled to the bag of M&Ms in the back room.

Kitty, that`s just reminded me that, when I wasn`t dreaming about maggots last night, I also had a dream about buying HUGE packets of peanut M&Ms and large bars of Cadburys Whole Nut.  Whoops, wrong thread! Sorry chaps Embarrassed

Morning! Sun is shining, the builders are singing (well no, that's just their radio and drill) and it's time to go out!
Must shower first though.
How is everyone this morning?
I'm waiting to hear about a job for which I interviewed on Monday...

Morning!  Hope you're successful with the job!

Busy, busy, busy here. Loads to do.  Off to the capital tomorrow for a couple of days so lots of things to arrange up here so I don't come back to chaos.  Well I'll come back to chaos anyway but it's damage limitation really... Roll Eyes

Sun shining and everybody happy.  Grin

Mornin` all.

No sun here, just fat, gloomy clouds Angry   On the plus side, the snapdragons that I ordered have arrived. Huzzah!  They`re dwarf ones and are destined for a hanging basket. They`re meant to keep going into the winter (fingers crossed emoticon)

Hope you have a scintillating time in the Smoke with plently of suitably hedonistic company, Milly Grin Grin

I'm meeting plenty of hedonistic, nay scintillating,  people that's for sure!  However, whether they will be of the same opinion about me is less definite.  Wink  At any rate I'm looking forward to a couple of days break in my old stamping ground.  Smiley

Mood Gorning all! I see it's only 4.14pm and already I've
  • taken cat to vet
  • made appointment to take other cat to vet
  • come home and realized that other cat already had an appointment and it is today
  • called vet to reorganize schedule
  • washed blanket that sick cat was taken in to vet
  • caught up on messageboards
  • got list of jobs for today including tidying garage, and making doorstop for Gran next door

Rather bizarrely, it's 7:20 and I'm already awake.
Woke up at 6 and by 7 gave up attempts to go back to sleep.
Could be something to do with going to bed before midnight - I seem to have conditioned myself to get by on six hours sleep...

Good morning. I've been up for a long-ish time. Someone is tiling my kitchen floor, at the moment trying to remove a door that has been there for about 60 years. I'm not looking forward to today. Cats get all jumpy and neurotic when their household is disrupted - so do I.

Good morning all.  Getting myself ready for the train to the Smoke later this morning.  Of course I've had to come down with a cold haven't I?  Sad  C'est la vie.

Lovely day here.  Speak to you all again in a few days time.  Smiley
