Wow, This is fantastic picture.
I read a book a few years ago about prehistoric people. It was well research book. People lived in caves. One woman was expelled.
The author has many volumes and they are popular, but I can not remember the name. This photo could be an illustration to the book.
Today there was a program about hunger in Africa as I was accompanying children. There was their teacher there and I told him that there are people like Ron Dough who go to Africa and help. It doesn't matter where one help as long as one does help.

Thank you for such a fantastic picture.

This kid at the first farm was quite a point of interest, mainly because it seemed to have been a cross with a dog: those ears look very like a spaniel's.

I love him very much. He looks like a cross between a goat and spaniel. I love him so much.

I thought we had too many photies for you, Anna Wink

You'll find plenty more on this thread, and that's before I proceed to my Welsh visit. But many thanks for your specialised information, which I shall relay to the other members of the trek team.

I proceed to my Welsh visit

Ron XXXXXXXXXXX

Crikey Ron, you are coming to Wales?  I must alert the Media!  Although I must say we have some very fetching Llamas and Alpacas round about here, which might make you feel at home, did you know Alpacas are so valuable they have to have someone living on site all day in case they get kidnapped?

"Bluddy Alpacas" sniffed a Welsh Mountain ewe, "Bet they is sponsored by L'Oreal, cos their fleece is worth it.  Fleece?  You call that a fleece?  More like angel hair more like, did you know most of our fleeces go to Turkey?  Corse, that's after we is, like, well, you know ... like dead, UK wool trade don't exist no more.

And with that she went off and wandered sadly, thinking about life, the Universe and New Zealand lamb and why the Supermarkets were flooded with it yet her Sister only sold for 122.89 pence per kilo this week and why the EU doesn't consider Britain to be a food producer any more and why Farmers are now just Custodians of the Countryside and Stewards of the Environment and encouraged to turn to pony trekking.

It ain't easy being a sheep.

As mentioned above, we have another wandering Ron situation from tomorrow: I'll be incommunicado for about a fortnight, after which it's just possible that things might calm down (though I wouldn't count on it...)

It's a while since I've added anything here, but these are some rather intricate weaver-bird nests which were in the trees at the first camp. Amazing structures.

Ron Dough,
You are back and amazing pictures continue. Thank you so much. It means a lot when one comes between practising or cleaning sessions and sees pictures like that. The color scheme is wonderful and birds ingenuity is  amazing. They build beautiful, safe and comfortable houses for their young.
