Why, when you have had a suitcase mix-up at a station, do you have to go to left luggage to get the right luggage?

... has someone chosen to install a large and very noisy funfair outside my office door?
And why is the Carribean barbecue stall twice as expensive as anything else? I could really have gone for some jerk pork for lunch...

I got some delicious food from a Caribbean food stall two weekends ago. DELICIOUS.

Why is it that when you purchase something like what me and mrsBBM have today, Sky+/ HD box, that first the movie channels and the sports channels were not wroking, so you have to phone them up to get it sorted. All done, hey presto!! Then, mrsBBM wanted to record something. We had to again phone up Sky again(!), and tell them what was wrong. Same procedure as before. Blooming options on the other end to press, etc. got through and only took a couple of minutes to sort out!!! What a parlava!

Is that the source or the 'cure'?!
Why do window replacers make so much noise? Why does ivy grip onto surfaces with such tenacity? Why are stepladders always unstable?

Why do my hands smell of vanilla today? I have no vanilla-based products anywhere in the house. And yet smell of it they do.

Why is there a rule that says builders and decorators are allowed to play radios noisily when no one else is?

Why, if the management company of my block of flats is going to send the window cleaners round at 7am on a weekday, don't they let us know in advance to avoid embarrassing incidents involving me emerging from the bathroom wearing nothing but my birthday suit...?

But the hadrons won't collide yet. They're lulling us into a false sense of security. The Science Thread has more...
