Is that Mabel’s recipe?  Let us know how it turns out.  Puttanesca pour moi ce soir and some loud music to drown out the ceaseless, endless rain.  Hopefully.  The electricity is wavering, there are sounds of sirens.  Police sirens that is, not scantily attired mermaids in the Bristol Channel, their russet  coloured sea salty encrusted  locks tumbling over their bare shoulders as they gaze into silver backed hand mirrors adjusting their kohl and eye up the sailors.

Whoops!  Wrong thread!

Oooh! How exciting! I DO hope you like it! Don't feel you have to be polite and tell me you do if you don't, Ruth. Smiley

That quantity feeds a fair number so either you've got company or you're going to be eating it for days and days...if the latter it's pretty essential you do like it!

you're a bit stingy with the toppings tho martle Grin

I had a 2nd portion of the mung dal, courgette, red pepper and pea curry that I made on Sunday with Basmati (cooked in lots of water Tongue), hot mango pickle, yoghurt & cucumber.

Oooh, just found a recipe for Moong Dhal (alternative spelling) on a website called The Aardvark Cooks - sounds like my sort of place Cheesy

It's in the oven at the moment.  I did find it very time- and labour-intensive, and it used loads of pots and pans.  It's at times like this that I am grateful for my dishwasher.  It looks delicious, though, and assuming I do like it it'll be one for me and several for the freezer (for late-night suppers, and lunches to reheat at work).

That's not a pizza! It looks more like a Godpat.

It's very nice! Grin  Though I think I could have done with using less stock and more Marmite.
