Thanks to Mr. I's hint and a recording we managed to fish out we can confirm that number 85 is indeed Rimsci-Corsacoff's 1883 Piano Concerto, opus 30. The quoted passage does not as might be thought come at the beginning but only after five minutes or so.


Yes, it is indeed Rimsky-Korsakov's Piano Concerto in C# minor op.30, taken from the Hyperion Romantic Piano Concerto series:



Not a masterpiece, but pleasant music, rarely heard. The Medtner piano concertos are in the same series which offers marvellous riches for the musical explorer.

Medtner's 2nd concerto is a real corker: highly recommended. Don't know this performance, however.
