Ooh, Betty's Grin

Alternately sunny and pouring here. It rained a LOT during the night.

Blechy weather in north lunnon.

Thanks for those earlier pictures of Massachusetts foliage, martle.  It's not half as vivid as in real life but gave me a pang anyway.  Sigh, oh for four proper and distinct seasons... I wouldn't resent the onset of a cold, dark autumn nearly as much had there been a genuine summer.  (I have a feeling I said something similar a year ago.)

Blue sky outside but really rather cold inside.
Already have two jumpers on. Will put my boots on in a minute.

Rainy wet rain. That means it'll get dark even earlier than it would have. Sad

May have to buy fingerless gloves at this rate...
Either that or I'll have to turn the heating on.

Bright and sunny this morning but the weather forecast isn't good.  I think it's going to be very changeable later.  The wind seems to have dropped at the moment but the tide is right in behind us and there are white horses so I think we might be in for more bad weather later today.

I couldn't find both of my fingerless gloves - I think the other was lost during my house move earlier this year!  Oh well, i shall have to go back to being "oddglove" - a nickname given to me by a teacher on a field trip to Wales when i was about 13 in which i lost one glove for about 3 days.  Oddly, we went back the same way another day and there it was!

Sunny and clear again here in York, hopefully it will not rain as we're doing a ghost walk this evening with my Aunt and Uncle and some friends!
