Oh blast.  I can't count.  I can't read numbers any more.  1499 is followed by 1500, of course.

It was the history of 20 posts per page that made me think we'd be at 1999.  Who one earth thought of having 15 posts a page?

Well, one more thing to have a grump about.......

But keep on like that, Tommo, and you'll be there in no time. I'm sure it's good exercise to give the old tusk an outing now and again.

One of the nobler distance races the 1500m in my view. A fine achievement in itself. (Hardly your fault there were no other competitors on this occasion Cheesy)

Can you imagine Roger Banister getting to 3 minutes, rushing to the line and then being told, "Er, Rog.  One more mate"?

Oh well, Maths was never my strong point.... Wink

t-p may have the added bonus of not being any good at maths either (Do you, t-p?).  Then she would be able to post on here for 17 hours a day, teach for 8, and still have time to sleep eat and do other things.....

Have a look over at the Mahler thread again, Tommo - you might just need that protuberance after all!

Correction... I was looking at the number of times it had been read. As you were. (Except for me, I'm off to stand facing the corner for a bit.)

Actually, I think I'll be off to bed, to make up for my late night yesterday with Brünnhilde and friends. Goodnight all.

Here is the last place I had garlic ice cream.

It was magical. First thing I had was the garlic soup. Would have been better named garlic purée. Perhaps you understand where I'm coming from. Then the lamb roast with a bulb of roast garlic. Or a Knoller as the Germans call it.

That's where we had the idea of garlicking up our percussionist's harmonica for the following evening's concert. But that's a story for another time.
