I've just had a look at the old, original Waffle thread from about this time last year.  Nice to see we are carrying on the old traditions here but it is a shame some have not joined us.   Cry

On with the motley...

My favourite muppet was Zoot, the saxophonist....

Mine was Animal - what a star ...

When I wa small, mine was Sweetums the big, brown monster that ate anything.  I used to call my sister that at the time and my parents thought I was being nice (evil smiley).

Oddly, I watched an episode of The Muppet Show some years later and found Sweetums deeply disturbing...

It is good attitude, your Lordship. Usually if people want to fire you it is for the best. I like your healthy attitude to life. I wish I always had it. May be they have to have courses on life and attitudes.

I just had a look at some of the vintage Waffle, courtesy of Kitty and hh. Ah, happy days. Wonder what happened to JL? Of course the danger with vintage Waffle is that we could spend so much time reading it, we won`t have the time to post any new stuff! Grin Grin

Some of the links that I've put up don't work but I'm sure I'll sort that out in a while.
The whole thing is available on the old deleted threads for the moment, but it's nice to know that they are all out there on the www, just waiting.

Bit quiet on the boards tonight.

164 posts to my next star.

Night all.
It's quite misty out.
When I opened the back door to shake the tablecloth out, there was just this eerie stillness.
Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.

Just as I thought that things were improving...

I shouldn't bother hh, it's just pathetic over there unless you enjoy being treated like a naughty schoolboy/girl (which some do obviously)

btw I posted something about Andy Kershaw on the Music Matters board to see if it would be removed and it hasn't - yet!  Wink
